Luke has been playing drums for nearly 30 years, starting in early childhood. He comes from a background of formal learning and is also largely self taught. A lifelong music lover, Luke really aims to inspire students to grow through playing the music they love most. He believes that drums are inherently joyful and expressive, making it easy for students to feel inspired and continue their love of playing. His teaching style is a mix of rudiments, reading, playing by ear, and learning about the role of a drummer in a band. Luke teaches beginner to intermediate students interested in playing everything blues, pop, hip hop, rock genres and more. His rate is $32 per 30 minutes.
